Music Theory
Theory is what turns playing into understanding. It’s the grammar of music — how melody, harmony, and rhythm actually work — and it makes everything you play clearer and more deliberate. At Cornucopia we teach music theory both in its own right and as the foundation it’s meant to be.
Many students take theory alongside their instrument; others come to it on its own — to prepare for ABRSM theory grades, to support composing and arranging, or simply to understand the music they love more deeply. It’s also one of the subjects that works best online.
