About Cornucopia Music Academy

Cornucopia Music Academy is built on a simple idea: that music should be taught properly, and taught to everyone. We’re an ABRSM-affiliated academy with two centres in Bangalore — in Koramangala and on Mission Road — and a full online programme that reaches students anywhere in the world.

What we teach

We teach nine subjects across every level, from a child’s first lesson to advanced ABRSM grade exams: piano, keyboard, acoustic and classical guitar, violin, viola, cello, choir, and music theory. Lessons are available both one-to-one and in small groups, for children and adults alike.

How we teach

Our approach is patient and personal. We build lessons around the student in front of us rather than pushing everyone through the same syllabus, and we measure real progress — honest feedback and proper technique, never the comfortable illusion of getting better. Our teachers are qualified, dedicated, and valued for the demanding work that good teaching actually is.

Cornucopia was founded by Ebenezer — a violinist, violist, and cellist who has taught for close to ten years — to put genuine teaching ahead of everything else.

Music therapy on our faculty

We also keep certified music therapists on our faculty. At a time of real strain on people’s mental health, we believe access to music therapy isn’t a luxury but a genuine need — so we’ve built it into who we are, rather than bolting it on.

Music for everyone

Cornucopia began with the belief that a real music education should be within reach of people from every walk of life. That belief still shapes how we work, including our efforts to bring music to those who might otherwise never get the chance.
