Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your enrolment in, and use of, the services provided by Cornucopia Music Academy (“the Academy”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They apply to all students, and to the parents or legal guardians of students who are minors, across our centres in Bengaluru and our online classes.
By enrolling in any class or programme, or by using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not enrol or use our services.

About the Academy
Cornucopia Music Academy is an ABRSM-affiliated, MSME-registered music academy based in Bengaluru. We teach piano, keyboard, guitar, classical guitar, violin, viola, cello, choir, and music theory, in group and individual formats, at our Koramangala and Mission Road centres and online.
Enrolment and Registration
Enrolment is confirmed only once registration details have been submitted and the applicable fees have been received for the relevant period. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue enrolment at our discretion, including where conduct affects the safety or learning of others.
When you enrol, you agree to provide accurate registration information and to inform us promptly of any change to your contact details. For students who are minors, a parent or legal guardian must complete enrolment and accept these Terms on the student’s behalf.
Fees and Payment
Fees are payable bi-monthly, in advance, before the start of each cycle of classes. Continued attendance depends on fees being up to date. Fees may be revised from time to time; any revision will be communicated in advance and will not affect a cycle already paid for.
Accepted payment methods and exact due dates are confirmed at enrolment.
Cancellations, Rescheduling and Make-up Classes
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Where notice is given in time, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a make-up class, subject to teacher and centre availability. Make-up classes are a courtesy, not a guarantee, and a missed class given without sufficient notice may not be eligible for one.
If the Academy needs to cancel or reschedule a class (for example, due to teacher absence or a public holiday), we will inform you as early as possible and arrange a suitable alternative.
Refunds
Fees paid are generally non-refundable once a cycle has begun, as places and teacher time are reserved in advance. In exceptional circumstances, requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the Academy’s discretion. Any approved refund or credit will be confirmed in writing.
Attendance and Conduct
Regular attendance and consistent practice are essential to progress, and we encourage families to support both. We ask all students and accompanying parents or guardians to treat teachers, staff, fellow students, and our premises with respect and care.
We reserve the right to suspend or end enrolment, without refund, in cases of behaviour that is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to others.
Online Classes
For online classes, students are responsible for their own device, internet connection, instrument, and a suitable learning environment. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by a student’s local equipment or connectivity.
Classes may not be recorded by either party without the prior consent of the other. Any recording shared by the Academy for teaching purposes remains the Academy’s property and is for the enrolled student’s personal use only.
Child Safety and Safeguarding
The wellbeing of every student is central to how we work. Our teaching is patient, personal, and respectful, and our faculty includes certified music therapists. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students, particularly minors. Any safeguarding concern can be raised directly with the Academy and will be treated seriously and in confidence.
Photography and Media
From time to time we may photograph or film classes, performances, and events for the Academy’s records and promotion, including on our website and social media channels. By enrolling, you consent to such use. If you (or, for a minor, the parent or guardian) would prefer that a student not appear in any promotional material, please tell us in writing and we will respect that request.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, together with the Academy’s teaching materials, practice tools (including the Theory Lab), curricula, and resources, is the property of Cornucopia Music Academy or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. It is provided for the personal, non-commercial learning of enrolled students and may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without our written permission.
Health, Safety and Liability
Please inform us of any medical condition, allergy, or learning need relevant to a student’s participation, so we can teach appropriately. The Academy is not liable for personal belongings brought to our premises. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the provision of our services is limited accordingly. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
